Terms of service

You need an account to make films. Give accurate details, keep access to your email and sign-in methods secure, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account. You must be at least 18 and, if you use Launchable for a company, allowed to accept these terms for it.

Launchable turns a description of your launch, or your website, into a motion-designed launch film: it writes scripts, builds a storyboard from motion designs in the Launchable marketplace, records a voiceover and assembles the film. Scripts and storyboard changes are written with AI, so review them before you publish a film. We do not promise any particular result from a film.

• Plans are monthly, paid in advance on our website and processed by Stripe. Each paid month adds the plan’s credits to your account.
• A finished film uses 1 credit for every 3 seconds, rounded up: 10 credits for 30 seconds and 20 for 60 seconds. Credits are taken when production starts and given back automatically if it fails.
• Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
• You can cancel your plan from your account at any time. Payments already made are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
• Launchable in ChatGPT never sells plans or credits. It only spends credits already in your account, on films you approve.
• We may change prices with notice before your next billing period. Prices do not include taxes unless stated.

You keep ownership of what you give Launchable: descriptions, brief answers, scripts, logos, screenshots, uploads and the websites you point us to. You allow us to host, copy, process and adapt it only to provide Launchable to you, including sending it to the providers listed in our privacy policy.

You confirm that you have the rights to what you give us, including trademarks, logos and website content, and that using it in a film does not break any law or anyone else’s rights.

You may use the films you make with Launchable to promote your products and business, on any channel and worldwide. The motion designs in a film remain the property of their creators or of Launchable. Your film includes the right to use them as part of that film, but not to extract, resell or reuse them on their own.

If you publish motions on the Launchable marketplace, you confirm that you own them or have the right to publish them, and you allow Launchable to offer them, adapt them to brands and include them in films. Creators are paid for each use as shown in the app.

Do not use Launchable to:

• make content that is unlawful, misleading, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or that infringes anyone’s rights;
• impersonate a person or company, or use brands you are not allowed to use;
• break, probe or overload our systems, get around limits, or copy or scrape the service or the marketplace;
• resell access to Launchable without our written permission.

We may refuse, remove or stop making content that breaks these rules.

When you connect Launchable to ChatGPT, you allow ChatGPT to act on your Launchable account within the access you approve: reading your projects, storyboards, films and credit balance, creating and changing projects, and spending credits on films after you approve the cost. ChatGPT is provided by OpenAI under its own terms. You can disconnect at any time; see Launchable in ChatGPT.

Signing in with Google or ChatGPT, paying with Stripe and using ChatGPT are covered by those providers’ own terms. We are not responsible for their services.

We improve Launchable continually and may change or remove features. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it. You can stop using Launchable at any time and ask us to delete your account.

Launchable is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond these terms, including that the service will always be available or free of errors, or that AI-written content will be accurate.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid Launchable in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
