Privacy policy

• Account: your name, email address, how you sign in (email code, Google or ChatGPT) and an internal account id.
• Launch content: project titles, product website addresses, launch descriptions, brief answers (your customer’s core problem, the problems underneath it, benefits and features, the process to show), scripts, storyboard lines, change requests, files you upload such as logos, screenshots and video, and your choices of style, narrator voice, brand pronunciation and film defaults.
• Brand material from websites you give us: the logo, colours, fonts, headings and screenshots of those public pages.
• Films and voiceovers we make for you, and the links to watch them.
• Credits and billing: your credit balance, the credits each film used or got back, and your plan. Payments are handled by Stripe; we receive your plan, subscription status and Stripe customer reference, not your full card number.
• Launchable in ChatGPT: which Launchable account approved the connection, the access granted and when, sign-in tokens (stored in hashed form), daily counts of actions taken through ChatGPT, and request references that stop a repeated request from running twice.
• Motion creators: your creator display name, the motions you publish and how often they are used.
• Early access list: your email address, how you found us and your country.
• Website analytics: pages viewed, outgoing links clicked, the referring page and campaign tags, device type and country.
• Operational logs: which page or tool was used, whether it worked and how long it took.

When you use Launchable in ChatGPT, Launchable answers the requests made in your conversation. Depending on the request, the answer can contain:

• your Launchable account id, display name and email address, when you ask which account is connected;
• your credit balance and the number of credits a film needs;
• project titles, product websites, film length, language, stage and status;
• whether your brief is complete, and headings from your website as suggestions for it;
• script options with their text and angle, and the one you chose;
• the style, narrator voice name and brand pronunciation you chose;
• storyboard frames: each frame’s script line, motion design name, status, length, preview image and any change you asked for;
• film status, length, a watch link and a private playback link;
• your film defaults: website, brand pronunciation, length, language, style and voice;
• public marketplace details: motion names, descriptions, previews and creator display names, and the list of narrator voices.

ChatGPT shows this information in your conversation and handles it under OpenAI’s own privacy policy. Launchable receives what ChatGPT sends to it when you ask it to act (for example your launch description, brief answers, script text and choices) and which Launchable account the request is for. Launchable does not receive your conversation history or your OpenAI password. ChatGPT may attach technical details such as your locale or approximate location to a request; Launchable does not use or store them. • To make your films: create projects, write scripts, draw storyboards, record voiceovers and assemble films.
• To capture your brand from the website you give us.
• To run your account: sign-in, credits, plans, support and messages about your account.
• To keep Launchable secure and working: preventing abuse, limiting how many actions run each day and fixing errors.
• To pay motion creators when their motion is used in a film.
• To understand how our website is used, in aggregate.

We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising.

We share personal data only with the providers that run Launchable for us, for the purposes above:

• Convex: our database, file storage and backend.
• Cloudflare: hosting for the website, the app and the ChatGPT connection, and capturing the public web pages you give us.
• Anthropic: writes scripts and adapts storyboard frames. It receives your launch description, brief answers, scripts and text captured from your website.
• ElevenLabs: records voiceovers and provides narrator voices. It receives your script text and brand pronunciation.
• Resend: sends sign-in codes. It receives your email address.
• Stripe: processes plan payments on our website.
• Google or OpenAI: when you choose to sign in with Google or ChatGPT, they confirm who you are and share your name and email address with us.
• OpenAI: when you use Launchable in ChatGPT, it receives the information listed above.
• OpenPanel: website analytics.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it, to protect our users or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

• Your account, projects, uploads and films: while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and its projects within 30 days.
• Credit and billing records: as long as accounting and tax law require.
• Launchable in ChatGPT: access granted to ChatGPT expires after one hour unless ChatGPT renews it, and a connection that goes unused for 30 days ends. Daily action counts and request references are kept with your account.
• Early access list: until your access is ready or you ask us to remove you.
• Operational logs: for a short period set by our hosting provider.

• Ask for a copy of your data, a correction or the deletion of your account by emailing hello@launchable.video from the address you sign in with.
• Disconnect Launchable from ChatGPT at any time from your plugins in ChatGPT. Your projects stay in your Launchable account.
• Ask us to remove you from the early access list.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to object to or restrict how we use your data, to move it to another service and to complain to your data protection authority.

Every request is checked against the account it is for, so only you see your projects and films. Sign-in tokens for ChatGPT are stored in hashed form, and Launchable never sees your OpenAI password. To play a film or a frame, Launchable uses private links that are hard to guess; anyone who has such a link can play what it points to, so share them only with people you trust.

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Launchable is a tool for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
