# SaaS launch video

A SaaS launch video explains a software product in under a minute: the workflow it fixes, the product in action and the outcome for the customer. Launchable creates SaaS launch videos from your website and a short brief, using human-made motion design adapted to your product screens and brand.

## What makes SaaS videos different

- Software is abstract: the value lives in a workflow, not in a physical object you can film.
- Screens need to be shown in motion, with focus and pacing, or the video turns into a slideshow.
- The product changes every month, so the video has to be easy to remake.

## How Launchable makes your SaaS launch video

### Product screens in motion

Your screenshots are captured from your website or attached by you, then animated inside device frames and UI motions.

### Problem first, product second

The brief asks for the core problem and the problems underneath it, so the script earns attention before it shows the product.

### Features tied to benefits

Up to three benefits, each with the features that deliver it, become the body of the film.

### Easy to remake

When the product changes, start a new film from the same brief and update only what changed.

### One brand everywhere

Colours, fonts and logo stay consistent across every scene.

### Built for your funnel

Use the film on your homepage, in onboarding, in sales emails and in launch posts.

## How it works

1. **Describe your launch.** Write what you are launching: a product, a feature, an app or an event. Add your website and Launchable reads your brand: logo, colours, fonts and screenshots. You can also attach screens, a logo or video, add references from the web, or import from Figma.
2. **Answer the brief.** Four short questions: the core problem your customer has, the problems underneath it, up to three benefits with the features behind them, and optionally the process you want to show.
3. **Pick your script.** Launchable writes two script proposals from your brief. Pick one, edit it line by line, or paste your own words.
4. **Choose a style and a voice.** Choose a visual direction and a voiceover voice. Add how your brand name is pronounced so the voice says it right.
5. **Review the storyboard.** Motif, Launchable’s motion director, picks a human-made motion from the marketplace for every line of your script and adapts it to your brand: your words, your colours, your logo. Swap any motion or ask for a change, frame by frame.
6. **Get your film.** Approve the storyboard and Launchable assembles the film: 30 to 60 seconds, 16:9, with voiceover, in English or French.

## Who is it for?

- **B2B SaaS startups:** Explaining a new category to buyers.
- **Growth teams:** Need a homepage explainer that converts.
- **Sales teams:** Want a one-minute film to send before a demo.
- **Founders:** Preparing a fundraising or launch moment.

## Example

Launch description: "Launch film for 8x: B2B marketers spend on ads but cannot reach the buyers who decide. 8x matches brands with LinkedIn creators their buyers already follow, and brands only pay when posts go live."

Result: 8x — Product launch film, 33 seconds (https://launchable.video/work/8x).

## Frequently asked questions

### What is a SaaS explainer video?

A short video that shows what a software product does, who it is for and why it matters, usually with product screens in motion.

### Can Launchable use my real product screens?

Yes. It captures screenshots from your website, and you can attach your own screens when you start.

### How is this different from a screen recording?

A screen recording shows clicks. A Launchable film tells a story with a script, voiceover and motion design built around your screens.

### Can I make a new version when my product changes?

Yes. Start a new film and keep the parts of the brief that still apply.
